What is it?
The Gathering is a unique, monthly opportunity for generations to join in “worshipping God acceptably with reverence and awe.” Each service will engage various modes of worship in proclaiming the Word, praising the King, and making Christ known.
Who is it for?
The Gathering is for Junior High students, Senior High students, College students, Young Professionals, and Parents. As is the case with all of our events, the unchurched is always welcomed to attend and participate.
When is it?
The Gathering will take place at 6:45pm on the 1st Wednesday of each month from September–May. The Gathering will begin on September 1, 2010.

What is the purpose of the Gathering?
- To proclaim the inerrant Word of God.
- To praise the risen King.
- To introduce others to the Savior of sinful man.
- To provide emerging generations (students and 20-somethings) an opportunity to worship God with peers, parents, and other student ministry adult volunteers unique to typical youth and/or church worship experiences.
- To provide emerging generations an opportunity to invite lost and/or unchurched friends to a gathering that they might not normally attend.
- To provide parents a periodic opportunity to worship with their emerging generations child(ren) unique to typical youth and/or church worship experiences.
- To provide non-parent adult volunteers a periodic opportunity to worship with the emerging generations unique typical youth and/or church worship experiences.
- To allow students, young adults, and adults to experience intergenerational worship unique to the normal church construct.
NOTE: The intent of this gathering is not to replace or compete with normal church worship services (ex. Mid-week). Such a gathering is only intended to supplement the full working of the church to make multiplying disciples.
