Luke Johnson

Music Associate | Student Worship Team Leader

Serving at Calvary since 2010, Luke is the Music Associate and oversees all Calvary Student Ministry worship and media as well as Student Choir. His hands-on ministry is to Junior High and Senior High students and their families.

Luke came to Calvary from his native home of Atlanta, Georgia. Luke has an undergraduate degree from Shorter College in Rome, GA where he received a Bachelor of Music in Church Music. In 2007, Luke attended Hillsong International Leadership College in Sydney, Australia, where he studied Worship & Creative Arts—with an emphasis in guitar—and served as a part of Hillsong Production Team, Hillsong Youth (Burwood Extension), and the Hillsong Street Team.

Luke is deeply passionate about Jesus and seeing students connect with God in worship. Students who are falling in love with Jesus. Students who are in passionate pursuit of Jesus Christ, and who desire to spread His hope, His love, His name, and His fame to everyone on earth.

Luke enjoys playing and listening to music, reading, thunderstorms, watching films, sunsets, eating blizzards, the beach, reverb & delay, winter, and LOST.
