Calvary Student Ministry depends heavily on the leadership and involvement of parents and other adults. As stated in our mission statement and fleshed out through our overall ministry strategy, our goal is to partner with parents and other adults in making lasting spiritual investments into the lives of our students. No matter how limited your discretionary time or your lack of experience in working with teenagers or college students, we have a place for you to plug in, if you are willing and available.
An adult leader can expect to…
- Have regular opportunities to significantly invest in the spiritual development of students.
- Have opportunities to lead and/or chaperone various student ministry activities from overnight retreats, camps, and mission trips to day ventures.
- Have opportunities to host various student ministry activities such as bible studies and fellowships.
- Have opportunities to connect and fellowship with other parents and adults volunteering in Calvary Student Ministry.
- Foster personal ownership in Calvary Student Ministry.
- Experience personal spiritual growth through their service.
